The Day of the Dead Studio Session- Bulverde, Texas
With Halloween so close, I decided that it was time to do another Day of the Dead session. It has been a few years since my last one, which showcased a beautiful young lady dressed in a white gown and was shot at La Villita in downtown San Antonio.
Now, this location was very befitting this type of photo session. However, I knew that I wanted to do something a little different. I wanted to do a session within my little studio and I wanted it to be baseball themed. I am a baseball mom, so my life revolves around my son's baseball schedule and naturally baseball came to mind. He is a such a great sport, that he allowed me to paint his face (which he had to sit for a good amount of time) and pose him to make for the most interesting pictures as possible. If you are the parent of a young boy, you know that majority of the time they are not ever willing to sit still for a large amount of time, yet alone, pose. I promised him that this session would be different and very fun! Plus, since it was a mini-session and done in studio, he didn't have to wear any shoes and could stay in his shorts. Win-Win!
He definitely had some fun, and the outcome was to his liking.
